We're Time Out New York's pick for what to do this Wednesday night! Here's what they say:

"The Pasties might not help you straighten out your mess of a life, but they'll probably have you convinced that everything's all right as long as they're playing."

Platonica now available online!
Posted Thursday, January 3, 2002 by devon

Those of you who couldn't make it to the CD release party last month can now buy our BRAND NEW CD online! Go here:

http://www.cdstreet.com/artists/thepasties

We'll be on Amazon and everywhere else pretty soon, but please use CDStreet. They're great; they can get the CD into your hands in just a few days. And they give most of the money to us too, unlike Amazon and the others...

Even if you already have the CD, maybe you could go there and post a really glowing positive review for us, hm?

Back in the studio

You can't accuse us of wasting time. Last week, right after Platonica was released to the world, we went back into the studio to start recording our next album. We put in two days at the Pigeon Club in lovely Hoboken, NJ, and nailed basic tracks for six new(ish) songs. Eric brought a camera to record the event:

Back from the Left Coast

Andrew and I just got back from the TAXI conference in Los Angeles. (Well, I did, anyway -- Andrew seems to have fallen prey to the charms of southern california and keeps extending his ticket...) For those of you who don't know TAXI, it's a broker who helps us get our music into the hands of people who can help us become wildly successful and rich and famous so that all of you who are fans now can turn up your noses at everyone when they start jumping on the Pasties bandwagon. Promise you'll still like us then, ok?
